Color Blocking

 I love learning new techniques.  When I first learned how to color block, it was using for squares and a stamp.  Very simple.  It looked like this:

I recently learned another way to color block, using masking paper and blending brushes through Lynn Dunn from Stamptastic Designs.  This is what I created from her example:

Sometimes, I don't like browsing through a catalog; I just want to find what I want quickly and easily online. The photopolymer Stamp and Die sets used in today's card, are found in the online exclusive section on line. You can find how to make this card here.

This card is monochromatic.  Monochromatic means you choose one color to be your basic color, and then add another color that will blend with it.  I chose blue as my primary focus and white because it is in the designer series paper.
