Tickled Tuesday -- It's Just Around the Corner!

 It's that time of year again when the new Mini Catalog arrives, and with it, our Sale a-bration!  

What does this all mean?  The new mini catalog is our July through December edition chocked full of Holiday Cheer!  Wait a minute, July is nearly over!  You're right, but due to COVID setbacks, unforeseen challenges set us behind a month.  So this year you will have opportunity to use this catalog August-December.

Simple Sunday--Kerchief Cards

 Before I get into this weeks Simple Sunday, I want to keep good on my word and post the cards that I did from "The Adventure Begins" Paper Pumpkin.  So, these are the finished products that you could easily make:

Today, we get to see how to make a Kerchief Card.  Before you blow your nose at the idea, (ar-ar-ar) just see how simple it is to create.  It will take you less than 8 minutes!

Tickled Tuesday--Let the Adventure Begin!

 My Paper Pumpkin arrived in the mail and I'm excited to share it with you!

This month's Paper Pumpkin is entitled "The Adventure Begins!"  It represents some encouraging words and fun activity as you are brought into your own little camping experience!

The first thing I did was punch out all the little things that -- punched out!  That way, they were ready when I needed them.

I also took a closer look at the cards because they had a unique fold to them--unlike your normal greeting card.  Wait till you see it!  So cool!

I then took my stamps, stamping block, and Stampin' Spot and started stamping my images and sentiments.  

The pieces were put into place and the final touch was done by adding the embellishments.  It is such a cool set this month!  I could think of a couple of people I could send one of these cards too!

It's Simple Sunday!

My Stampin' Up! team has a challenge going on with an Olympic theme.  The challenge is to come up with 10 different cards.  There are certain stipulations with each card.  One of the card challenges is called Stamping Gymnastics.  We are supposed to show off our favorite stamping technique.  I learned a new one this week and I absolutely love it!  The technique I chose is so simple, and it brings your cards to life, revealing a very elegant look!  I can't wait for you to see the stamping technique, shadowing.

Tickled Tuesday--Take Your Pick Brush

 I trust you all had a great Fourth of July.  Ours was quiet, but we had a typical cookout and saw the park fireworks from our own house!  It was really nice!

Well, it's Tickled Tuesday and I decided to show you a part of the Take Your Pick Tool that wasn't shown in my last video of this product. It had been put on my wish list.  I ordered last week, and I now have it. This is a special brush that will show you how to take care of those delicate die cuts that you make.

When I think of the painstaking time that it once took me to remove all the little pieces of paper...let's just say, I wish I would have had this tool back then!
