Thinking of You with Winterly Tree Tops Suite

I like to make cards that are very simple and, also those that are more advanced.  Today, I am showing you a simple card using one of our newest products.  The Winterly Tree Tops Suite is found on page 31 of our September - December 2024 Mini Catalog.  You can go to my video to see how it is assembled.

Frozen Edges Layered Card

 Looking for some fun and warm holiday ideas?  Using the Frozen Edges Cling Stamp Set, I had the opportunity to put together a layered card that makes life nice and cozy during the winter season!  You can visit my video to see how this beautiful card was made.

Here's what you will need to make your own:

PAPER

• Pretty Peacock
• 5-1/2" X 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4' (or folded in half)
• 2-3/4 X 3-3/4"
• Basic White
• (2) 5-1/4" X 4" (one for the top layer and one for the inside of the card
• 2/1/2" X 3-1/2" (after stamping, you can emboss this piece)
• Scrap for your Sentiment

Scrapbooking Kits

Stampin' Up! has opened the door to begin offering scrapbooking products.  Kits are now available for those just starting to scrapbook, and for those who need all the "extras" to create their own pages.  

I recently purchased the "Autumn to Remember" kit and showed how this beautiful kit can be assembled for one page. Check out the video here for details.

There will be 12" x 12" paper available for purchase in the colors Garden Green, Real Red, Pool Party, and Basic Black The paper is unique in how it has been made.  One shade of green will be on one side and a lighter shade on the back side.  This makes them very versatile for creating your scrapbooking pages!

Pictured is my creation of the front side of page 3 from this "Autumn to Remember" Scrapbooking Kit. It included Printed pages, solid-colored pages, punch-outs, and stickers.  It also included a booklet that gave detailed pages of measurements of pieces that needed to be cut. I didn't have any pictures prepared so I grabbed an autumn card I had made last year to show where the picture goes.

Hidden Flap Fun Fold Card

This card I created just for fun!  I love learning new fun fold cards and this one caught my eye.  I got this idea from my demonstrator, Dawn Olechefske.  I love how the hidden flap's secret lies and how the card stands. Although I made mine a Christmas card, it can easily become a birthday or thank you card.

My list of things below the picture is primarily measurements.  I want you to be able to dream how you could make your card, using the theme you wish to present.  Have fun with it!  Watch the video to see how it is assembled.

 Here are the type of products you will need:

PAPER:

• Mossy Meadow (2) 5-1/4" X 4"
• one of those is scored at 1-3/8" and 2-3/4"
• Another piece of Mossy Meadow:  2/3/8" X 4-1/4"
• Very Vanilla (2) 2-1/2" X 4"
• Any DSP paper you choose to create your card.
• Front flap: 2-1/2" X 3-1/2"
• Back Card:: (2) 1-3/8" X 4"

STAMPS

• Choose the stamp set and dies that is fitting for your card.

INK

• I used Tuxedo Black Memento Pad

ADHESIVES

• Stampin' Seal
• Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Mini Glue Dots

EMBELLISHMENTS

Hang an Ornament

Today's card can be as simple or as complex as you wish.  I created a fun Christmas card using the bundle--Hang an Ornament Photopolymer Stamp Set and Dies.  I used three ornaments; you can create it with one or two as well. The words on the ornaments were stamped with Versa Mark and then embossed with a white embossing powder.  I also made a gift tag.  You can see how this card was put together by visiting my video.
