Telescope Technique

 I am always looking for new ways to create a card, and I recently learned about the telescope technique. This technique uses die cuts of multiple sizes, allowing you to layer the shapes, leaving the final look as your focal point. I used the Countryside Corners Dies. In my video, I show two ways this technique can be combined. Take a look at how it's done!



Here's what you will need to create your own:


PAPER

  • Card base:  Basic White 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"
  • Layer (Mat):  Cal1ypso Coral 5-14" X 4"
  • Top Layer: Early Espresso 5" x 3-3/4"
  • Die Cuts: A Little Latte 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

INK

  • Early Espresso Classic Stamp Pad

STAMPS & DIES

  • Countryside Corners Dies
  • Latte Love Bundle

ADHESIVES

  • Stampin' Seal
  • Stampin' Dimensionals

Positive/Negative Border Technique

 Today I will show you how a border can be made in two steps, creating a unique and beautiful touch to your cards.  The Winterly Tree Tops bundle was used to create our card today.  Watch the video to see how it was done.



PAPER

  • Base Card:  Mossy Meadow Cardstock 5-1/2" X 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
  • Matted Layer:  Basic Black Cardstock5-1/4" X 4"
