Christmas Scraps

 I'm always trying to figure out what I can do with my left-over Designer Series Paper, scraps and all.  This technique shared with you today is quite simple and makes a fun card!  All you need is your base card and some strips of paper.  Take a look at today's video.

PAPER

• Shaded Green Cardstock 5-1/2" X  8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
• (2) Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4" X 4

Christmas Mugs

I've been busy putting together some Christmas gifts this past week.  I started looking for ways to make a fun, unique paper product that celebrates the holiday and allows me to fill it with treats.  This week I made Christmas Mugs.  They are so easy to make and really a lot of fun!  Check out my Christmas Mug video to see just how to make these.  

The dimensions are listed below for your reference.

PAPER

• 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock (I used Real Red and Basic White)
• Cut this page down to 4-1/2" X 8-1/4"score this, portrait side up at 1-1/2".  Then score landscape up, 1" sections from 1-8".
• Also cut a 1" X 4-1/2" Strip
• You will be able to make 2 sets of these out of one sheet of cardstock.
• You can choose some Designer Series Paper that has double sides.  Look for something that will work well for both sides.  After cutting out your 4-1/2" X 8-1/2" sheet, one side will be the outside of your mug, and the other will be the inside.

Choose any winter stamps and your choice of ink to "dress up" your mug. If you want, you can add embellishments as an alternative choice.

Two-Toned Paper

 Recently Stampin Up! has started putting out some new products. Many kits and online exclusives have been added.  They have also added a new paper that is called "Two-Toned".  It's called that because one side is the shade that you are familiar with, and the back side of it is just a shade lighter.  I demonstrated what this paper is like and what possible things you can create in this week's video.  I am going to list what you will need to make today's card, but I will also list several links to the packs of paper that we presently have.  Here we go:

Magic Treat Card

This card is a cute magical number that reveals a disappearing act. Look at the video to see
what it's all about.   

Here's what you will need to make this sweet treat:

PAPER

• Peach Pie 8-1/2" x11" Cardstock
• 4-1/4" X 11" scored at 5-1/2"
• 5" X 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
• Cut a window out of one side of the 4-1/4 X 11fold, leaving a 1" border all around.
• Basic White 8-1/2" X 11" Thick Cardstock
• 3-1/4" X 4-1/2"
• 3-3/4" X 4-1/2"
• 1" X 3-3/4" fold this in half
