Book Binding Card

 A Book Binding Card is a unique technique that is easy and fun to do.  You can make it as simple or as complex as you like.  Below are listed the main measurements and supplies you will need. You can always watch the video to see how it's done.

PAPER

• Base Card:  can be any color of cardstock you would like.  Take an 8-1/2" by 11" sheet and cut it in half, so you have a card that is 4-1/4" X 11", scored at 4" and 5-1/2".
• For the inside layer:  Basic White 3-3/4" X 4"
• Outside Layer:  Basic White or any color of your choice 3-3/4" X 4"
• and 1-1/2" X 4" strip 

STAMPS & DIE CUTS

• Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad
• Pretty In Pink Classic Stampin' Pad
• Versa-Mark Pad (You need this ink, if you choose to emboss your images or sentiments).

• Tear & Tape Adhesive
• Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

Storybook Moments

 Being a reading tutor, I love to read children's books.  Especially when there are some critters involved.  Mice, rabbits, ducks, puppies, etc.  Their adventures are a lot of fun to read!  Today, I am going to share with you a card from our Storybook Moments Suite.  These little critters are a blast to play with.  The card I have made, makes me think of writing a story of a rabbit family exploring what they could find in a garden patch!  I imagine lots of adventure and mishaps along the way!  Look at the short video to see how this card was made.

Nature's Paintings Alternative Cards

 I have introduced you, through my videos of one of our latest kits entitled, "Nature's Paintings Kit.  It comes with a "coloring book", Water Colored Pencils, and a Water Painter.  You can color any picture in the book you want, lightly paint some water over the image by "coloring" with the brush, to get a watercolor look to your picture.  You can find this kit in our Kits Collections and then going to the Crafting Kits section.  All can be found by following those links in my shop.

As I looked over the pages I had painted.  I began to wonder what I could do with the pictures.  Should I frame them?  Put them in a scrapbook?  How would I create some cards with them?  And then, the light bulb went on! 

The first picture I used Garden Green Cardstock.  The picture I cut out and adhered it to the outside of the card, with Stampin Dimensionals.  I topped it off with three Faux Glass Dots.  Inside I put my message.  

The second picture I cut the page down to a 5-1/4" X 4" piece and placed in on the Pretty In Pink Cardstock with Stampin' Seal. I also used the Pretty In Pink 3/8" Bordered Ribbon and Iridescent Faceted Gems. 

Both cards were stamped with sentiments from the Something Fancy Cling Stamp Set.  Look at the short video showing how fun and easy it was to put these together!
