Little Card, Big Message

I recently purchased the Big Little Things Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I purchased it with the idea of making children's cards with it, then soon realized that some fun adult cards could be made as well.  Today's video shows you how to make a small card with a big message.  I hope you will enjoy it.

Layered Pocket Card

I had fun creating this card.  The layout itself is from Kathy, from Kathy's Stamping World.  I added the pocket element to it.  Be sure to check out the video to see how simple it is!  Here are the supplies that were used in this video:

PAPER

  • Nature Walk 12 X 12 Designer Series Paper
  • 4" square, cut in half--one side is flipped over
  • Natural Hues 12 X 12 Specialty Paper
  • 5" X 3-3/4" cream colored

Beach Boardwalk

 I have two teen twin nieces.  When I saw this suite, I knew it would be the perfect suite to make them a card.  This card was simple and fun to create.  I can't wait to hear my niece's reactions.  Below is a list of all of the supplies you will need.  Be sure to watch the video to see how it's done.


PAPER

  • Base Card:  I used Berry Burst Cardstock 5-1/2" X 4-1/4"
  • Beach Boardwalk 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper cut at 5-1/4" X 4"
  • Basic Black for die cut out
  • Basic White for inside layer 5-1/4" X 4"

Delicate PInes

 I don't know what it's like where you are, but it is bitterly cold here in Wisconsin during January.  I decided to take the Elegant Pines 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper, along with the Delicate Pines Photopolymer Stamp Set & Dies, and create a winter card.

The video is just over 6 minutes long and shows an easy way to assemble this card.  All you need to do is stamp and die-cut your images and add them to your already paper-trimmed pieces.


Here's what you will need:

  • Base Card:Pretty Peacock Cardstock 5-1/2 " X 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
  • Inside Layer: Basic White 5-1/4" X 4"
