Tent Sketch Card

Today I am sharing with you a card that I created from scratch just by looking at a simple sketch.  Seeing a sketch allows us to dream of how we want to create our card.  This was the card I created from this sketch.  Not exactly like the sketch, but there are some similarities.

• 11" x 4-1/4 Garden Green Cardstock 
• 2-5/8" X 3-3/4" Calypso Coral Cardstock
• Bubble Bath Cardstock 
• A cut image from the Fresh as a Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
• Strips: Garden Green 1/2" x 4", and Calypso Coral 3/4" x 4"

Criss - Cross Card

I'm always looking for fun and unusual ways to create a card, and Jackie Bolhuis, another demonstrator shows how to make this kind of card.  She didn't have a name for it so I just chose the name I did due to the X that you create in the middle of your card.  Here's what you will need:

• Base card: Azure Afternoon 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"
• First/Mid layer: Berry Burst  (2) 5-1/4" x 4"
• Top layer:  Basic White  (2) 5" x 3-3/4"
• Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper 4-3/4" x 3-1/2"

2-Step Daisies

One of the fun things to do in stamping is using a 2-step stamp set.  Our Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set does just that.  One stamp of petals is the outline of the daisy, and the other stamp of petals fills it all in.  Using this stamp set allows you to stamp in different colors.

Today's card shows you just that!
