Clear Embossing Cards

I decided to put together a card that highlighted the WOW Clear Embossing Powder.  I had no idea how it would turn out.  I was happy with the results.  Check it out!  Here's what you will need to make your card.

PAPER

• Base Card:  Shaded Spruce 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"
• Top Layer:  Crushed Curry 5-14" x 4"  This is covered by two strips
• Crushed Curry  2-1/8" x 5-1/4"
• Full of Life 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper 1-3/4" x 5-1/4 "
• Inside Layer:  Basic White 5-1/4" x 4" 

STAMPS

• Something Fancy Cling Stamp Set

INK

• Versa Mark Pad
• Tuxedo Black Memento Pad
• Basic WOW Embossing Powders

EMBELLISHMENTS

• Shy Shamrock 3/8" (1 cm) Bordered Ribbon

Telescope Technique

 I am always looking for new ways to create a card, and I recently learned about the telescope technique. This technique uses die cuts of multiple sizes, allowing you to layer the shapes, leaving the final look as your focal point. I used the Countryside Corners Dies. In my video, I show two ways this technique can be combined. Take a look at how it's done!

Positive/Negative Border Technique

 Today I will show you how a border can be made in two steps, creating a unique and beautiful touch to your cards.  The Winterly Tree Tops bundle was used to create our card today.  Watch the video to see how it was done.
