For the month of October, I am focusing on Christmas Cards. Today, I am featuring our Cottage Wreaths Bundle. I made this watercolor wreath to create a soft, elegant card. Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
Here's what you need:
- Card Base: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Vanilla Cardstock
- Middle Layer: 5-1/4" x 4" Vanilla Glimmering Designer Series Paper
- Top Layer: 5" x 3-3/4" Shimmery White Cardstock
- (2) 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" squares of Shimmery White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" Shimmery White Cardstock
- Old Olive Stampin' Pad
- Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Pad
- Water Painters
- Take Your Pick Tool
- Stampin' Seal
- Multipurpose Glue
- Stampin' Dimensionals
- Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
First, I took my small Shimmery White Cardstock pieces, my Water Painters, and my Stampin' Pads. I squeezed the Stampin Pad cases to get a "pool" of ink on the inside of the lids. Then I took the Water Painters and squeezed a water drop on each ink pool. I stirred the water around to get everything wet and began to paint one of my squares. I continued this process until all three of my pieces of Shimmery White were painted. I set those aside to dry.
I took my Top Layer and stamped both my sentiment and the circle of leaves on it. Then I adhered the Middle Layer to the Card Base and the Top Layer on top of that. When I finished all my adhering, my painted pieces were dry. I took my die cuts and cut out the wreaths and a bow. I "fluffed up" the wreaths and glued everything into place. I added an iridescent pearl to the middle of my bow, and some gold festive jewels to the card.
