More Than Autumn

 It's that time of year when school begins, the weather starts to cool, and we anticipate the beauty of the fall colors and all our favorite fall things.  Dare I say, "Pumpkin Spice "__________________. (You fill in the blank)

Today's card is made from a new fall bundle set coming out next week when the 2024-2025 September - December Mini Catalog arrives!  It is entitled the "More Than Autumn Bundle". The stamps are photopolymer, and the bundle includes a set of dies. 

I cannot show you pictures of these items below because the catalog is not yet available, however, you can watch the video and see the card I made with this bundle!

Stack, Cut & Shuffle

This technique allows you to make three cards at one time.  You will need three sheets of a Designer Series Paper. The papers must be cut at 5-1/4" X 4".  You stack them together, make two cuts, and shuffle them in three different layouts to make your cards. You will cut all three sheets at the same time. 

The cuts should be:

1.  Top, left-hand corner to the middle of the right side of the pile. Lay the first set off to the side.

2.  The second set will be cut by placing the lower left-hand corner at the bottom and cutting from the top center to the corner.

3.  Lay out all the pieces by placing each pile into three layouts, so each card will hold one of each cut piece.

Then you will put your cards together!  Visit the video to see it all in action.

A Latte Sketch

 My team was challenged this month to create a card from a specific sketch.  This sketch is simple and fun to do!  Check out the video to see the possibilities.  This is the card that was created.

A Drapery Card

 In order to make a drapery card, you will need Designer Series Paper that has two sides.  When the drape is complete you will want to see the contrast between the two sides.  Check out my video to get a complete understanding.

This month Stampin' Up! is holding a sale on Designer Series Paper!  Visit my shop and put "Designer Series Paper" in the search bar and you will see all the paper that is on sale.  It's a great offer and only runs this month!

Here are the products and directions shown in my Drapery Card video:

PAPER

• Base Card: Summer Splash Cardstock 5-1/2 X 8-1/2"
• Inside Layer: Basic White 5-1/4" X 4"
• Sentiment: Scrap of Petunia Pop
• Drapery: Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper 4" X 11-1/2"
• Place the 4" end at the top of your paper trimmer.  Move the paper to 1-1/2" and place a tick mark at the top.
• Cut from the tick mark down to the lower corner of your piece.
• Place the horizontal end (or the 11-1/2" side) of the wide piece of DSP at the top of your paper trimmer and make the following score marks: 3", 4", 6", 7", 9", 10"
• Fold and burnish the folds, folding in and then out.  see the video for clarification.
• Cut two inches off the wide end of the smaller piece to use as a border on your inside layer.  Trim the hangover with your paper snips.
