Today, I am not going to tell you how to put your card together. What I am going to do is give you tips that will help you make the perfect card!
You will find that with a set of masks, there is an order that is provided to put your images together. You will want to put these in order. After closely looking at each mask, you will want to choose the colors you wish to use. Next, you will want to trace around the first mask, or find some way to indicate where your mask is being placed. Making sure that the notch on each mask is going in the same direction, you will place the next one in the exact spot as your first one.
You will need to squeeze your ink pads together, pushing the top half of the pad against the bottom half, so when you open it you will find a small pool of ink on the bottom half of your ink case. This is the spot where you will draw your ink from, to paint with. Once your first mask is set up you may begin painting!
In review:
- Put your masks in order.
- Choose the colors you will want to use.
- Trace or place tick marks so you can line up each mask correctly.
- Press your ink pads together to form a pool of ink on the inside bottom of your ink pad.
- Put your first mask in place and begin to paint.
- Every time you line up a new mask, be sure the notches go in the same direction.
