This creation came about from my team's sketch challenge. It's very easy to do and takes about 10 minutes to put together.
Here's what you will need:
- Card Base: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2" (I used Real Red Cardstock)
- Inside Layer: 5-1/4" x 4" (I used our Basic White Cardstock)
- Strip of paper: 1" x3" (I used Mossy Meadow Cardstock)
- Using Crushed Curry Cardstock I cut a 2" x 1-1/4" block
- Hello Harvest Stamp Set
- Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper (DSP)
- Merry Merlot Ink Pad
- Multi-Purpose Glue
- Stampin' Seal
- Stampin' Dimensionals
- Mini Stampin' Dimensionals
- Paper Snips
First, I cut out all the sizes I needed from the various colored cardstock and DSP. Then I stamped "HELLO" on my Crushed Curry block. Then I began to assemble.
With Stampin' Seal, I placed the inside layer on the inside of my Real Red card base. Using my Paper Snips, I cut out the flowers from the Rustic Harvest DSP, carefully moving the paper as I cut, NOT moving my scissors back and forth. I then used the Multi-Purpose Glue to adhere the DSP to the outside of the card base and to place my Mossy Meadow strip. With Dimensionals I popped up my sentiment and butterfly. And that's it! Easy-peasy!
