Accordion Style

 Today, I am going to show you how to do a new fun fold, called the Accordion Fold.  I got this idea from Tina Zinck, a Stampin' Up Demonstrator from Canada!

This is what you will need:

• Base Card: 11-1/2" x 5-1/2" I used Basic Black
• Along the 11-1/2" side you will score at 4-1/4", 7", and 9-3/4"
• Designer Series Paper:  I used the Granny Apple Green from the Brights 6 x 6 DSP
• Cut panels of the following sizes:
• 4" x 5-1/2"   
• 2-1/2" X 5-1/4"
• 1-1/2" x 5-1/4"
• You will also need a piece of Basic White, cut at 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" This piece is for your message inside the card.
• Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin Ink Pad
• Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
• Stamp set of your choice:  I used the Lady Bug Bundle
• Label of some sort:  I used a fancy on from the Petal Park Dies Set
• Petal Park Dies
• Stampin' Seal
• Stampin' Dimensionals
• Bone Folder
• Paper Trimmer

Step One: With your paper trimmer, cut your base card, your panels, and your label out.

Step Two: After you have everything cut and scored, you will want to take your bone folder and burnish the folds so that you get a good crease on each score line.

Step Three: Stamp the white panel that is used for your message, with a stamped image.  I used the leaf from the Hello Lady Bug Stamp Set.  I also punched out a ladybug from the bundle and added it to my leaf with Stampin' Dimensionals.  At this point, it will be good to stamp your sentiment on your label as well.

Side Note:  I used two labels, using the Petal Park Dies.  You don't have to use two labels, one is sufficient.  I just chose to do it that way.  Also, you can place the panel with your message on any of the inside folds.  The choice is completely up to you and your personal creativity.

Step Four:  After everything is assembled, it would be a good idea to go over each fold again with your bone folder.
