Fast and Easy One Sheet Wonder

I've done One Sheet Wonders before, but they were very detailed, drawing lines on a sheet of cardstock to show where each piece would be stamped and cut.  It took a lot of time.

Anne Hellman, another demonstrator, shared this on her site, and I loved the idea. This one is much simpler and easier to follow.  All you need is an 8-1/2" X 11" sheet of Basic White Cardstock.

You can either make these cuts ahead of time and then stamp on each piece, or you can stamp on the entire sheet and then make the cuts, it's totally up to you.  Here are the directions for each cut.  Check out the video to understand the details.

Place your sheet of cardstock vertically on your trimmer or cutting board.  Make the following cuts:

  • 3-1/2"
  • 3"
  • 2" piece will be left over

Place each piece you had previously cut horizontally on your trimmer or cutting board.  Make the following cuts:

With the 3-1/2" piece cut...

  • 4-3/4"
  • 5-1/2"
  • 3/4" will be left over

With the 3" piece cut...
  • 5-1/2"

Flip the next section vertically and cut...

  • 2"
  • 1" will be left over

With the original 2" piece cut...

  • 5"
  • (3)-2" squares

All your pieces will create 6 cards.   Place a ribbon or embellishments on each card to complete them.  Enjoy, and happy stamping!
